Biography
Mercedes Morán is an Argentine actress who works in film, television and theatre. Born on 21 September 1955 in Concarán, San Luis, she studied acting with Lito Cruz and began her professional career in the 1980s.
Her film credits include La Ciénaga (2001), The Motorcycle Diaries (2004) as Celia de la Serna, Neruda (2016) as Delia del Carril, El Ángel (2018) and Familia sumergida (2018). She has also appeared in numerous television series. In 2026 she is credited as Ema in the series My Sad Dead.
Morán was previously married to actor Oscar Martínez.
