Biography
Mere Smith, also credited as Meredyth Smith, is an American television writer and producer. She began her career in the industry after attending Brown University, where she took part in theatre productions, and worked on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer online community before securing an assistant role that led to positions on Angel.
Smith wrote multiple episodes of Angel (1999–2003) and served as executive story editor and script coordinator. She later wrote two episodes of the HBO series Rome (2007), as well as episodes of Tarzan (2003), Burn Notice (2007), Jonny Zero (2005) and The Nine Lives of Chloe King (2011). She has also held producer credits on several of these series.
