Biography
Meredith Baxter is an American actress and producer. Born Meredith Ann Baxter on 21 June 1947 in South Pasadena, California, she trained at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and began her career in the early 1970s.
She is known for her roles in the television series Bridget Loves Bernie (1972–1973), Family (1976–1980) as Nancy Lawrence Maitland, and Family Ties (1982–1989) as Elyse Keaton. In film, she played Debbie Sloan in All the President's Men (1976). Baxter has received five Emmy Award nominations, including one for the title role in the 1992 television film A Woman Scorned: The Betty Broderick Story.
