Biography
Mfoniso Udofia is a Nigerian-American playwright, television writer and educator. She studied political science at Wellesley College and received an MFA in acting from the American Conservatory Theater. Since 2018 she has written for television, beginning as a staff writer on the third season of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why (2019).
Her television credits include writing and producing roles on Pachinko (2022), where she served as executive story editor, A League of Their Own (2022), Let the Right One In (2022), Little America (2020) and Lessons in Chemistry (2023). She is also the author of the nine-play Ufot Cycle, which includes Sojourners, Her Portmanteau, runboyrun and In Old Age, and is a member of New Dramatists.
