Biography
Mhairi Calvey is a Scottish actor, producer and director. She was born on 7 May 1988 in Glasgow and grew up on the Isle of Arran. At the age of five she made her screen debut as Young Murron MacClannough in Braveheart (1995). She later trained at the Guildford School of Acting.
Calvey has appeared in Robert the Bruce (2019) as Elizabeth de Burgh, The Eastern Front (2020) as Aliya and Fear the Invisible Man (2023) as Adeline. Her television credits include Boat Story (2023). She won Best Newcomer at the National Film Awards for Robert the Bruce. She founded the production company Dream Reel Entertainment and wrote, directed and produced the short film Gaslight (2021).
