Biography
Mia Cioffi Henry is a cinematographer and director of photography. She is an IATSE Local 600 member and works on feature films, documentaries, television, commercials and music videos. She holds an MFA in cinematography from NYU Tisch, where she is Associate Arts Professor and Head of Cinematography in the Graduate Film programme.
Her credits include the 2025 features Sorry, Baby, directed by Eva Victor and released by A24, and the documentary Cover-Up, directed by Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus. Earlier work includes Superior (2021) and The Surrogate (2020). In 2025 she was named a BAFTA US Breakthrough and one of American Cinematographer Magazine’s Rising Stars of Cinematography. Her films have screened at Sundance, Cannes, Venice and other festivals.
