Biography

Mia McKenna-Bruce is an English actress. She began performing as a child, appearing as a ballet girl in the West End production of Billy Elliot the Musical and in guest roles on series including EastEnders and Holby City. She trained in dance at centres including Liz Burville Performing Arts Centre in Bexley and Sapphire Dance Academy in Bexleyheath, and attended Maidstone Grammar School for Girls.

McKenna-Bruce gained prominence playing Tee Taylor in the CBBC series Tracy Beaker Returns (2010–2012) and its spin-off The Dumping Ground (2013–2018). Her film roles include Mary Musgrove in Persuasion (2022) and Tara in How to Have Sex (2023). For the latter she won a British Independent Film Award for Best Lead Performance and the BAFTA Rising Star Award, and received a nomination for the European Film Award for Best Actress. Television credits include Get Even (2020), Vampire Academy (2022) and the lead role of Lady Eileen 'Bundle' Brent in the Netflix series Agatha Christie's Seven Dials Mystery (2026).
