Biography
Michael Alan Brierley is a cinematographer. He began working in the camera department in 1984 as a camera assistant, later becoming a camera operator on feature films, and established himself as a director of photography in the mid-1990s.
Brierley has photographed more than 600 commercials. His feature and television credits include episodes of the series ER (2006), Spring Break Shark Attack (2005), Yesterday (2004), Prey (2007) and City of Life (2009). He has also served as second unit director on the series Knightfall (2019).
He lives outside Prague in the Czech Republic and is a member of the South African Society of Cinematographers.
