Biography
Michael Alden Lloyd is a cinematographer. He holds a Masters in Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He previously worked as a travelling musician and gained experience on the set of the film Hugo.
Lloyd has served as director of photography on the FX series Better Things (2017, two episodes). His feature credits include Sun Dogs (2017), Peel (2019), The Quarry (2020), Bosco (2024) and Borderline (2025). He has received the Panavision Award, the ARRI Award and consecutive Emerging Cinematographer Awards from the International Cinematographers Guild, and participated in the Berlinale Talents Lab.
