Biography
Michael Baylis is an American animation director and storyboard artist. He was born on 15 August 1981 in Syracuse, New York.
He earned a B.F.A. in Illustration from Syracuse University in 2003. Baylis began his career as a storyboard artist on Fox series including The Cleveland Show and American Dad!. He has directed episodes of Bless the Harts (2019–2021), The Great North (2021–2024) and the King of the Hill revival (2025–2026).
Baylis teaches Illustration Concepts at Syracuse University's VPA LA Semester programme.
