Biography
Michael Benaroya is an American film producer and the founder and chief executive of Benaroya Pictures, a film finance and production company.
Born in Seattle on 23 February 1981, he graduated from Pomona College with a B.A. in economics. He moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue a career in film.
Benaroya produced Margin Call (2011), which he personally financed, as well as The Words (2012), Lawless (2012) and Kill Your Darlings (2013). His grandfather was the real-estate developer and philanthropist Jack Benaroya.
