Biography
Michael Berlin is a television writer, also credited as Mike Berlin. His first script to reach air was the 1987 episode "Cuba Libre" of Miami Vice, co-written with Eric Estrin.
Before entering television writing, Berlin spent ten years as a psychologist in New York, working at Rikers Island jail complex and Bellevue Hospital Center. He has written episodes for series including Kaz (1978), Cagney & Lacey, Hunter, Missing Persons (on which he also served as producer and co-producer), Diagnosis: Murder, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Earth 2, Earth: Final Conflict and Silk Stalkings. Later credits include the film Ghost Squad (2015).
