Biography
Michael Dowse is a Canadian film director, writer and producer. Born on 19 April 1973 in London, Ontario, he was trained as a film editor.
His early feature FUBAR (2002) premiered at Sundance. Subsequent films include It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004), Goon (2011), What If (2013), Stuber (2019) and 8-Bit Christmas (2021). He has also directed episodes of television series such as Preacher and Man Seeking Woman.
Dowse wrote, directed and produced The Stunt Driver (2026), a historical comedy based on the life of stuntman Ken Carter.
