Biography
Michael Finnell is a film producer. He began his career working for Roger Corman on films including Avalanche (1978) and Rock 'n' Roll High School (1979), and contributed to Airplane! (1980).
Finnell has frequently collaborated with director Joe Dante. Their joint credits include The Howling (1981), Gremlins (1984), Explorers (1985), Innerspace (1987), The 'Burbs (1989), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), Matinee (1993) and Small Soldiers (1998). He also produced Milk Money (1994) and Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999), and was nominated for a Razzie Award for Worst Picture for Newsies (1992).
