Biography
Michael Harte is an Irish film and television editor. Born in Donegal and based in London, he trained in communications at Dublin City University and film studies at University College Dublin before beginning his editing career in Dublin.
Harte edited the documentary Three Identical Strangers (2018), directed by Tim Wardle, with whom he has collaborated on several projects. His other editing credits include the series Don't Fk with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (2019), STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie (2023) and Beckham (2023). He also directed Memories of a Murderer: The Nilsen Tapes (2021).
Harte has received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Nonfiction Program for STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie, along with BAFTA, IFTA and other nominations and awards for his documentary work.
