Biography
Michael Martinez is a cinematographer and director, also credited as Mike Martinez. He began in the camera department as a second assistant camera on feature films including Outbreak (1995) and As Good as It Gets (1997).
Martinez has worked extensively in television as director of photography. His credits include Hawaii Five-0 (2010), on which he served as cinematographer and director of photography across dozens of episodes from 2013 to 2017, and MacGyver (2016), for which he was director of photography on 30 episodes and directed three episodes. Later projects include Monarch (2022), Dog Gone (2023) and True Lies (2023).
