Biography
Michael McGreevey is an American actor and screenwriter. Born on 7 February 1948 in Phoenix, Arizona, he began acting as a child and appeared in numerous films and television series, including a regular role as Chip Kessler in the series Riverboat (1959–1961) and parts in Disney productions such as The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes (1969), Now You See Him, Now You Don't (1972) and The Strongest Man in the World (1975). His feature film credits include Day of the Outlaw (1959), The Way West (1967) and The Shaggy D.A. (1976).
McGreevey later worked primarily as a writer and producer. He contributed episodes to series including The Waltons, Quincy, M.E. and Wonder Woman, and served as writer, story editor and producer on Fame (1982–1987). He wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode 'Babel' (1993). He received a Daytime Emmy nomination for co-writing the ABC Afterschool Special 'The Celebrity and the Arcade Kid' (1983). He is the son of screenwriter John McGreevey.
