Biography
Michael McManus is an American actor, writer and producer. Born on 26 January 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he began appearing in film and television in the mid-1970s.
His film roles include Ben Tuthill in Poltergeist (1982), Todd in Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987) and parts in Mother, Jugs & Speed (1976), Funland (1987) and Action Jackson (1988). On television he has guest-starred in series including Knight Rider, Married... with Children, Full House, Columbo, Saved by the Bell, Baywatch, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Golden Girls. He was a series regular on the sitcom Lewis & Clark (1981–1982).
McManus has also worked as a writer and producer. He shared a Writers Guild of America Award in 1982 for the Steve Martin special All Commercials... A Steve Martin Special.
