Biography
Michael McShane is an American actor and improvisational comedian. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he trained in the classics and improvisational comedy in Berkeley, California. This led to work in England from 1988, including regular appearances on the original British television series Whose Line Is It Anyway?.
He is known for playing Friar Tuck in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991). Other credits include Dr. Swanson in Office Space (1999), voice roles as Tuck and Roll in A Bug's Life (1998) and Hands in Treasure Planet (2002), and appearances in Malcolm in the Middle (2000) and Doctor Who (2005).
