Biography

Michael O'Hare was an American actor who performed on stage and television. Born Robert Michael O'Hare Jr. on 6 May 1952 in Chicago, Illinois, he died on 28 September 2012 in New York City. He studied at Harvard University and the Juilliard School, and appeared in Broadway productions including a revival of Man and Superman and the original stage version of A Few Good Men.

O'Hare was best known for playing Commander Jeffrey Sinclair in the first season of the science fiction series Babylon 5 (1994), a role he left after the season for mental health reasons. He returned for guest appearances in later seasons. His other television credits include episodes of Law & Order, L.A. Law and T.J. Hooker, while film roles include C.H.U.D. (1984) and The Ambulance (1990).
