Biography
Michael Pattinson is an Australian film and television director. Born in 1957 in Melbourne, he began directing in 1980 and has worked on numerous Australian and international productions.
He is known for directing episodes of Farscape (2002), Millennium (1997), The Lost World (1999–2002), BeastMaster (2000–2002) and Mortified (2007). His feature film credits include Moving Out (1983) and Ground Zero (1987), the latter co-directed with Bruce Myles and entered in the Berlin International Film Festival.
Pattinson has also directed episodes of Rush (2009–2010) and City Homicide (2009). He spent nine years in Los Angeles directing for US studios before returning to Australia.
