Biography
Michael Polle is a German film and television producer. He began his career in 2000 in the television production department of the advertising agency Heye & Partner, before studying production and media economics at the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München. After graduating, he worked as a producer at Bavaria Film from 2005 and then at Hofmann & Voges Entertainment from 2007.
In 2010 Polle joined X Filme Creative Pool, where he headed the television department and became managing director in 2021. His credits include numerous Tatort episodes, such as the Grimme Prize-winning Tatort: Nie wieder frei sein (2010), as well as the series Babylon Berlin (2017–), for which he served as producer, and the Norwegian series Furia (2021), on which he was executive producer. In 2025 he co-founded the Munich-based production company Polle & Hofmann Pictures with Mischa Hofmann.
