Biography
Michael Thomas is an Australian screenwriter. He grew up in Sydney and began writing as a teenager before moving to the United States, where he contributed to publications including Rolling Stone.
His screenplays include Countryman (1982), The Hunger (1983), Ladyhawke (1985), Burke & Wills (1985), Scandal (1989), Backbeat (1994), B. Monkey (1998), The Devil's Double (2011) and The 33 (2015). He received a Hugo Award nomination for Ladyhawke.
