Biography
Michael Whetstone is a production designer working primarily in television. He has served as production designer on the ABC series Abbott Elementary since its 2021 debut, contributing to multiple seasons including set expansions in later years.
Earlier in his career he worked in the art department on films such as From Dusk Till Dawn (1996). He transitioned to production design and held the role on the Fox sitcom New Girl across its 2011–2018 run of 141 episodes. Other credits include The Kids Are Alright (2018–2019), Moving On (2022) and the miniseries Amend: The Fight for America (2021).
