Biography
Matt Sohn is a television director and cinematographer. He began his career in reality television and documentaries, working as a camera operator on series including COPS from 1994, as well as The Amazing Race, Survivor and The Daily Show.
In 2005 he moved into scripted comedy, serving as a camera operator and later director of photography on The Office, for which he shot over 99 episodes. He directed eight episodes of the series between 2010 and 2013. Sohn has since directed episodes of Parks and Recreation, Superstore, The Mick, Abbott Elementary and other sitcoms, and has also worked on The Muppets (2015). He has received three Primetime Emmy nominations.
