Biography
Alex Hardcastle (born 19 November 1972) is a British television director and producer. He began his career in the UK producing comedy specials and documentaries before turning to directing in the 2000s, helming episodes of series including Lead Balloon, School of Comedy and the pilot and early series of the long-running sitcom Not Going Out.
Hardcastle has directed nearly 200 episodes of American television comedies, including The Office (2005), Parks and Recreation, New Girl, You're the Worst, Grace and Frankie, The Mindy Project and Love, Victor. He made his feature directorial debut with the 2022 Netflix film Senior Year.
