Biography

Wendey Stanzler is an American film editor and television director. She began her career in post-production and worked as co-editor and associate producer on Michael Moore's documentary Roger & Me (1989). She later co-edited Moore's Canadian Bacon (1995) and edited episodes of series including Sex and the City, Ed and Now and Again.

Stanzler transitioned to directing, making her debut on Sex and the City. She has directed episodes of numerous series including Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Parks and Recreation, Arrow, The Flash, Shameless, Orange Is the New Black and Party Down (2009). She served as producer and director on the first season of 90210 (2008–2009) and as co-executive producer on You're the Worst.

Stanzler won American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards for Roger & Me (1990) and a Sex and the City episode (2004), and received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for her editing on Sex and the City.
