Biography
Michael Yezerski is an Australian composer of film and television scores. Born and raised in Sydney, he is a classically trained musician who studied composition at the University of Sydney. He began his career scoring Australian features and shorts before relocating to the United States in 2014, where he now divides his time between Los Angeles and Sydney.
Yezerski is known for his work on The Black Balloon (2008), for which he received an APRA Award and a Screen Music Award, The Little Death (2014), The Devil's Candy (2016), Sweet Country (2018), Blindspotting (2018), The Vigil (2020), Feel the Beat (2020), The Tax Collector (2020) and Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities (2022). Recent credits include The Deb (2024), Dangerous Animals (2025), Ice Road: Vengeance (2025) and Buddy (2026).
