Biography
Michael Zelniker is a Canadian actor, screenwriter and director. Originally from Montreal, he studied acting at Dawson College's Dome Theatre and worked in Canadian theatre before relocating to Toronto and later Los Angeles.
He is known for his performances as Red Rodney in Bird (1988) and as Doug Alward in The Terry Fox Story (1983), the latter earning him a Genie Award for Best Supporting Actor. Other film roles include Martin in Naked Lunch (1991) and appearances in Queens Logic (1991). He has made guest appearances in television series such as Murder, She Wrote, Millennium, Profiler and The Dead Zone.
Zelniker wrote, produced and starred in Stuart Bliss (1998). He also wrote, produced and directed Falling (2012), which won a festival award.
