Biography

Michel Arcand is a Canadian film editor. Born in 1949 in Val-d'Or, Quebec, he began his career as an assistant editor in the mid-1970s.

He has edited numerous Canadian films, including seven directed by Léa Pool, and worked on international productions such as Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and The 6th Day (2000), both directed by Roger Spottiswoode. Arcand is a three-time Genie Award winner for Best Editing, for Night Zoo (1987), Léolo (1992) and The Rocket (2005).
