Biography
Michel Delahaye was a French actor and film critic. Born on 21 September 1929 in Vertou, Loire-Inférieure, he died on 22 October 2016 in Paris.
He began as a journalist and critic, writing for Cahiers du cinéma from 1960 to 1970. From the mid-1960s he appeared in films by directors including Jean-Luc Godard, Jacques Rivette and Jean Rollin, with roles in Band of Outsiders (1964), Alphaville (1965), The Nun (1966), The Nude Vampire (1970) and The Shiver of the Vampires (1971). He later took parts in films by Truffaut, Straub-Huillet and Leos Carax, including a voice role in Holy Motors (2012).
