Biography
Michel Seydoux is a French film producer born on 11 September 1947 in Paris. He founded the production company Caméra One in 1971 and has worked on numerous films, often in collaboration with directors such as Alain Resnais and Nikita Mikhalkov.
Among his credits are Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), Close to Eden (1991), Smoking/No Smoking (1993), Burnt by the Sun (1994) and The Barber of Siberia (1998). He was co-producer on the documentary Jodorowsky's Dune (2013) and later directed Heart of an Oak (2022).
Seydoux served as president of the football club Lille OSC from 2002 to 2017. He is the grand-uncle of actress Léa Seydoux and brother to film executives Jérôme and Nicolas Seydoux.
