Biography
Michèle Gleizer was a French actress. She trained at the Centre d’apprentissage d’art dramatique de la rue Blanche in Paris and began her theatre career in the early 1960s, appearing with the Théâtre de Bourgogne and in productions including works by Molière and later contemporary playwrights.
She made her film debut in the 1970s and appeared in supporting roles in French and international productions. Her credits include Europa Europa (1990) as Salomon's Mother, Chocolat (2000) as Madame Rivet, The Women on the 6th Floor (2011) as Germaine, Renoir (2012) as Aline Renoir, and Les Misérables (2000) as Madame Magloire. She also worked as an embroiderer, with exhibitions of her work from the mid-1980s.
Gleizer was born on 12 July 1941 in Paris and died there on 8 October 2017.
