Biography
Michelle Keserwany is a Lebanese writer, musician and filmmaker. She co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film Capernaum (2018), directed by Nadine Labaki.
With her sister Noel Keserwany she co-directed the short film Les chenilles (2023), for which she also wrote the screenplay. The sisters are known for their satirical music videos addressing socio-political issues in Lebanon.
Keserwany received a residency scholarship at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2019 and has lived between Beirut and Paris since then. She is developing further film projects, including feature films.
