Biography
Mick Ford (born 1 August 1952) is a British actor and screenwriter. He trained with the National Youth Theatre and began his career as an actor, appearing in films including The Sailor's Return (1978) and Scum (1979), in which he played the intellectual convict Archer.
Ford later focused on writing, contributing episodes to series such as William and Mary (2003–2004), which he created, Inspector George Gently, Ashes to Ashes (2008), Single Father (2010) and several Harlan Coben adaptations for Netflix. He has also written and produced After the Flood (2024).
