Biography
Mick Giacchino is an American composer of film and television scores. He is the son of composer Michael Giacchino and the nephew of documentary filmmaker Anthony Giacchino. He began working in television scoring with Jim Henson's Turkey Hollow in 2015.
Giacchino's credits include the Disney+ series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (2024–2025) and Zootopia+ (2022), the Netflix feature Extinct (2021), The Muppets Mayhem (2023), and That Dirty Black Bag (2022). He composed the score for the HBO series The Penguin (2024), for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award, and for the Marvel series VisionQuest (2026). He also contributed additional music to The Batman (2022).
Outside screen work, Giacchino released the instrumental EP Perseverance in 2021.
