Biography
Mieko Harada is a Japanese actress. She made her screen debut in 1974 and has appeared in numerous films and television dramas.
She is known for her role as Lady Kaede in Akira Kurosawa's Ran (1985) and for appearing in his Dreams (1990). Other credits include Helter Skelter (2012) and the voice of Kaguya in Inuyasha the Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass (2002). She won the Hochi Film Award for Best Actress for Village of Dreams (1996) and Begging for Love (1998).
Harada has been married to actor Ryo Ishibashi since 1987.
