Biography
Mike Berry (born Michael Hubert Bourne) was an English singer and actor. He appeared as Mr. Spooner in the BBC sitcom Are You Being Served? from 1981 to 1985, replacing Trevor Bannister's Mr. Lucas as the junior sales assistant.
Berry began his career as a singer in the early 1960s with the group Mike Berry and the Outlaws, achieving UK top-ten hits with "Don't You Think It's Time" (1963) and "The Sunshine of Your Smile" (1980). His acting roles included Mr. Peters in the children's series Worzel Gummidge (1979–1981). He died on 11 April 2025.
