Biography
Mike C. Nelson is an American actor, producer and writer. He studied theatre at Indiana University in Bloomington, where he discovered acting during his sophomore year, before moving to Chicago to perform in storefront theatre and train at The Second City. He later relocated to Los Angeles around 2006 and began a career in commercials and screen roles.
Nelson is known for his recurring role as Dan on the Apple TV+ series Shrinking (2023–), Nurse Larry on black-ish (2014–2020), and Dr Harold Kubler in the horror anthology The Mortuary Collection (2019). He has appeared in other television shows including Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Henry Danger, and has credits as a producer and writer on independent projects. He is also a three-time Jeopardy! champion.
