Biography
Mike Frank Polcino is an American animator and director. He has worked on the animated series The Simpsons since its third season, initially as a character layout artist and later in roles including animation timer, assistant director and retake director. He began directing episodes in 2000 and has been credited on 45 episodes to date.
Polcino's brother, Dominic Polcino, is a former director on The Simpsons. He has also directed the 2008 television film Cranberry Christmas and earlier work including The D.A.R.E. Report: The Land of Decisions and Choices (1993). He received Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Short Form Animated Program in 2021 and 2022.
