Biography
Mike Hatton is an American actor, producer and director. He is best known for playing George, the bassist in the Don Shirley Trio, in the 2018 film Green Book directed by Peter Farrelly. His performance earned him a Hollywood Film Award for Best Hollywood Ensemble and a Vanguard Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Hatton appeared on stage with the cast at the 91st Academy Awards when the film won Best Picture.
He has also appeared in The Greatest Beer Run Ever (2022) as Captain Dyer, Echo Boomers (2020) as Johnny, Paydirt (2020) as Geoff Bentley and Every Last One of Them (2021) as Bartlett. Hatton founded the production company Ton of Hats, which has produced over a dozen feature films. He is a former television reporter and trained at the Second City Conservatory and Upright Citizens Brigade Theater.
