Biography
Mike Kelly is an English actor. He began his career as an insurance broker before becoming a stand-up comedian, performing in clubs in northern England and appearing on the television series The Comedians.
His television credits include roles in All Creatures Great and Small (1978), Open All Hours (1976), Edge of Darkness (1985) as a detective, Cracker (1993) as Peter Lloyd, Common as Muck (1994–1997) as Ted, Heartbeat (1993) and Emmerdale as Caleb Dingle. He has played four different roles in Coronation Street between 1980 and 1995. He has also worked as an after-dinner speaker.
