Biography
Mike Munn is a Canadian film and television editor. He trained at Toronto Metropolitan University and has worked on numerous documentary and scripted features since the late 1980s.
His credits include Owning Mahowny (2003), Metal: A Headbanger's Journey (2005), Cake (2005), Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage (2010), Stories We Tell (2012), Trench 11 (2017) and To Kill a Tiger (2022). He edited Sarah Polley's Stories We Tell (credited as Michael Munn) and shared a Directors Guild of Canada Team Award for the film in 2013. For To Kill a Tiger he received the Canadian Screen Award for Best Editing in a Documentary.
Munn's work has screened at festivals including Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Telluride and Sundance, with multiple films selected for the Toronto International Film Festival.
