Biography
Mike Patton is an American musician, composer and actor. Born in Eureka, California, he formed the band Mr. Bungle at the age of 15 and joined Faith No More as lead singer in 1989, remaining until the group's initial split in 1998. He has also performed with Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Fantômas and other projects, and co-founded the label Ipecac Recordings.
Patton has contributed to film and television as a composer and voice actor. He composed the original score for The Place Beyond the Pines (2013). His voice work includes the narrator in Bunraku (2010) and a role in I Am Legend (2007), as well as appearances in Metalocalypse (2006) and the documentary Ennio (2022).
