Biography
Michael Weiss, also credited as Mike Weiss, is a television writer and producer. He wrote four episodes of The Mentalist (2012–2014) and worked as co-producer and producer on the series before moving to Chicago P.D., where he wrote episodes (including one teleplay credited as Michael Weiss) and served as co-executive producer (2014–2017).
Weiss has written for In Plain Sight (2011–2012), Code Black (2018), Stumptown (2019), FBI (2024–2026) and other series. He co-created Death and Other Details (2024), on which he also served as executive producer and showrunner. He has been executive producer and showrunner on FBI and is attached to CIA (2026).
