Biography
John Polson is an Australian actor and director. Born in Sydney, he began his career as an actor in the 1980s, appearing in films including The Sum of Us (1994) and Mission: Impossible II (2000).
He founded the short film festival Tropfest in 1993. As a director, his feature films include Siam Sunset (1999), Swimfan (2002) and Hide and Seek (2005). He has directed numerous television episodes, among them instalments of Fringe (2008), The Good Wife (2009), The Mentalist, Elementary, The Walking Dead and Blue Bloods.
