Biography
Mikio Ueda is a Japanese actor. He trained at the Bungakuza Research Institute and En Engeki Kenkyujo after working as an IT engineer, and made his stage debut in a production of James Miki’s Ikebukuro Waga Machi.
He is known for recurring television roles including the science teacher in the Oishii Kyushoku series, a regular part in the NHK morning drama Ranman, and the role of Sakuragi Hisakuri in the taiga drama Hikaru Kimi e. His film credits include Exit 8 (2025), in which he played Man on Train.
