Biography
Mikkel Nørgaard is a Danish director and screenwriter. He graduated in direction from the National Film School of Denmark in 2001.
He directed four episodes of the political drama series Borgen (2010) and numerous episodes of the comedy series Klovn (2005–2022). His feature films include Klown (2010), The Keeper of Lost Causes (2013) and The Absent One (2014); he also wrote the screenplay for The Purity of Vengeance (2018).
Klown – The Movie (2010) won the audience prize at the 2011 Robert Awards, and Fasandreperne (2014) won the Blockbuster audience prize in 2015.
