Biography
Mikkel Serup is a Danish director and writer. He was born on 1 April 1973 in Aarhus, Denmark. He studied at the European Film College in 1993/94 and graduated as a director from the Danish Film School in 2003, with his short film Frunk as his graduation project.
Serup has directed episodes of the series The Killing (2012) and The Chestnut Man (2021), on which he also served as creator. His feature film credits include Pound for Pound (2017), which he also wrote, and The Reunion 2: The Funeral (2014). He has received Robert Prizes for his work on television series.
