Biography
Milana Vayntrub is an American actress and comedian. She was born on 8 March 1987 in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR, Soviet Union (now Uzbekistan), and immigrated to the United States with her family as refugees when she was two years old. She began acting as a child, appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials at age five, and later studied at the University of California, San Diego, and improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
Vayntrub came to prominence for her long-running appearances in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, returning to the role in 2020. She has had recurring roles in television series including This Is Us (2016–2017) and Silicon Valley (2014), and appeared in films such as Ghostbusters (2016) and Werewolves Within (2021). She is also known for voicing Squirrel Girl in Marvel media. In 2026 she played Olesya Ilyukhina in Project Hail Mary.
